Triple-A International League

Syracuse 10, Ottawa 7: The SkyChiefs (8-6) scored three runs apiece in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings to spark their second straight victory over the visiting Lynx (5-8).

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 7, Altoona 5: Dave Crouthers threw five scoreless innings, his best outing of the season, to lead the Baysox (6-7) past host Curve (6-7). Crouthers allowed two hits, walked three and struck out three, but he didn't get the decision. The Baysox scored twice in the ninth to break a 5-5 tie, and reliever Jacobo Sequea was credited with the win after working 1 2/3 innings. Jose Morban scored the go-ahead run on a double by Val Majewski, who came home on Tony Mota's single. Mota went 3-for-4, and Majewski and Ed Rogers each had two hits.

Single-A Carolina League

Salem 5, Frederick 3: The host Avalanche (9-3) won two of three in the series.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 6, Columbus 4: The visiting Shoremen (5-6) have won two straight.

Charleston, S.C. 3, Hagerstown 0: In their eighth straight loss, the visiting Suns (2-8) managed three hits against the RiverDogs (8-5).
