Baach, Shirley L.

On April 16, 2004, SHIRLEY LEBOVITZ BAACH, 80, died at home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jack E. Baach, founder of JEB Advertising and former Baach's Children Shop. Shirley was a devoted mother to Margo Marchant and Amy Baach of Louisville and step-grandmother of Danielle Shabazz of Seattle, Washington. She was loved by her many caretakers, including Lacey Perkins, Tonette Perkins, Dee Kennedy, Rose Brown and Linda Simpson. Over her lifetime, Shirley volunteered for many organizations, including Jewish Hospital, Hadassah, and The Temple. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from Ohio State University. Donations should go to the Movement Disorder Program, University of Louisville School of Medicine, 500 South Preston, Louisville, KY 40202 or Hospice of Louisville. Funeral Graveside, Sunday at 2 P.M., The Temple Cemetery, Louisville, KY. Herman Meyer & Son in charge of arrangements.
