Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Homicide arrest: Members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force entered a house in the 5600 block of McClean Blvd. about 7 p.m. Monday and arrested Nathaniel Green, who is charged in a warrant with first-degree murder. Green, 19, of the 2300 block of Aisquith St., is accused of fatally shooting Terry Baxter, 21, of the 2300 block of Robb St. on March 26 in the 1100 block of Bonaparte Ave.

Central District

Robbery: A woman, 42, was walking in the first block of E. Centre St. about 1:30 p.m. Monday when a man knocked her to the pavement and stole her purse. The victim refused medical treatment for an injured right wrist. A short time later, the purse was recovered at Pennsylvania Avenue and Gold Street by two Salvation Army workers. Missing were house and car keys, a checkbook and other property.

Robbery: A 24-year-old woman who answered a knock at her apartment in the 900 block of N. Lovegrove St. about 5 p.m. Monday was robbed of $20 by a man who implied he had a handgun.

Robbery: A 28-year-old woman was smoking a cigarette in the rear yard of her home in the 1200 block of John St. about 8:20 p.m. Monday when a man asked for $1 to ride the light rail. She removed $11 from her pocket and gave him $1, but the man grabbed the rest and fled.

Robbery: A 66-year-old man was walking in the 900 block of W. North Ave. about 6:40 p.m. Monday when a man knocked him to the pavement and took $53.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Someone broke into Unique Beauty Salon in the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road on Monday and stole a television set valued at $250.

Southern District

Burglary: Jewelry, a DVD player, DVD movies, compact discs and a computer - all valued at about $3,000 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 1200 block of Riverside Ave.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: T-shirts, sugar, powdered cream and display items - all valued at $133 - were stolen during the weekend from Rita's Italian Ice in the 2200 block of E.. Joppa Road.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Five chain saws and a hedge trimmer were stolen from a garage in the 4600 block of Old Court Road between April 7 and Monday.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary/assault: Police were seeking three males who forced their way into a house in the first block of Blue Jay Court about 2 a.m. Monday and assaulted a man, 36, with a handgun. The trio escaped in a car after the man's 17-year-old son chased them from the house.
