Dorothy Agnes Fetting, 75, homemaker, club member

Dorothy Agnes Fetting, a homemaker, died of a lung disease Wednesday at St. Joseph Medical Center. The Timonium resident was 75.

Born Dorothy Agnes Irr in Baltimore and raised in Homeland, she was the daughter of Henry Irr, former president of the old Baltimore Federal Savings and Loan Association. She was a 1946 graduate of Mount St. Agnes High School in Mount Washington. She also attended Mount St. Agnes College.

In 1949, she married Anton W. Fetting Sr., an owner of A.H. Fetting Co., a Charles Street jewelry business. Mr. Fetting died in 1964.

Mrs. Fetting was a former member of Cathedral of Mary Our Queen parish. For many years she helped count the weekly collections.

She was a member of the Baltimore Country Club, the Three Arts Club of Homeland, the Homeland Garden Club, the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary and the Christ Child Society.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Stella Maris Chapel, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium.

Survivors include four sons, Anton W. Fetting Jr., Henry I. Fetting, Stephen K. Fetting and David J. Fetting, all of Baltimore; a daughter, Mary Ann Williams of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
