Triple-A International League

Ottawa 2, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 0: Jose Leon hit a two-out homer to deep left field in the fifth to give the host Lynx (1-0) their fourth straight opening day win, all over the Red Barons (0-1). Dave Borkowski (1-0) got the win, and Josh Hancock (0-1) took the loss. Darwin Cubillan earned his first save.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 5, Harrisburg 3: Val Majewski had two homers and four RBIs as Bowie defeated the Senators in its home opener.

John Maine (1-0) struck out seven in five innings. He allowed one run on one hit and two walks. Jacobo Sequea got the save.

Luke Lockwood (0-1) allowed all five of Bowie's runs in 5 1/3 innings. He gave up six hits and struck out six.

Hagerstown 6, Lexington 3: Jon Armitage and Mike Wagner homered as the visiting Suns (1-0) beat the Legends (0-1) in their home opener. Travis Nesmith (1-0) got the win, and Tim Alvarez got the save. Raymar Diaz (0-1) took the loss.
