Method Man at Recher

Method Man will throw down Tuesday at the Recher.

The rap artist, who first gained acclaim in the early '90s as a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, will headline the show after Baltimore hip-hop act Arcane rocks the mike.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Two if by Sea

Local electro-rock outfit Two if by Sea will light up the Ottobar Saturday when it celebrates the release of a new CD, Translations. Karmella's Game, Revenge Is and Avec are also billed. Admission is $8.

Playboy Magazine will celebrate its 50th anniversary Wednesday when it holds a party at One.
