Towson routs Mount, 17-6

Bobby Griebe and Ryan Preuss each scored three goals and Drew Pfarr had four assists to lead host Towson to its third straight win, 17-6, over Mount St. Mary's last night.

The win pushed the Tigers (4-3) over the .500 mark for the first time this season, while the defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference-champion Mountaineers fell to 2-6.

Salisbury 18, Mary Washington 5: The visiting Sea Gulls (12-0, 6-0 Capital Athletic Conference), top-ranked in Division III, routed the Eagles (7-3, 4-1).

Dickinson 9, McDaniel 8: The visiting Red Devils (4-3, 1-1 Centennial Conference) beat the Green Terror (3-5, 1-2) for the first time since 1974, a stretch of 29 games.

Women

Salisbury 18, Mary Washington 4: The visiting Sea Gulls (8-2, 4-0 CAC) scored six of the game's first seven goals on their way to an easy win over the Eagles (7-5, 2-2).

Catholic 12, Frostburg State 11: Ali Jarden had eight goals to lift the visiting Cardinals (6-5) past the Bobcats (7-2).
