Senior attacker Annie Wagner scored four goals and sophomore goalie Lidia Sanza made 13 saves yesterday to lead the 12th-ranked St. Paul's girls lacrosse team to a 7-6 victory over visiting and No. 1 Notre Dame Prep.

A Blazers rally erased a 5-1 St. Paul's lead and tied the score at 6 with 4:22 remaining, but Wagner countered with the game-winner with 2:35 left. The Gators (4-1-1) won the ensuing draw and drained away most of the remaining time.

The Blazers (4-1) got one last chance to tie but committed a turnover in the final 10 seconds.

Junior center Megan Del Monte added two goals, and Sanza preserved the victory with five second-half saves, helping St. Paul's extend its unbeaten streak to four.
