Comcast names Crooks, Parker vice presidents

Comcast Cable Communications appointed Ken Crooks as vice president of operations for the White Marsh-based cable TV and Internet provider in the Maryland/Delaware region and Michael Parker as vice president and general manager for Baltimore operations.

Crooks heads various customer services initiatives and oversees competitive strategies. Parker, formerly with Comcast's Greater Detroit region, manages the cable system's daily operations in the city. A former Marine officer, he holds a master's in business adminstration from Northwestern University and a law degree from the University of Miami.

Boomershine, Weatherholtz take executive posts at Aon

Aon Consulting named David Boomershine senior vice president and Russ Weatherholtz assistant vice president in the human resources consulting firm's retirement practice .

Boomershine, a Glenwood resident, was with Bucks Consulting. A graduate of Shippensburg University, he is an enrolled actuary and a member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries and the American Benefits Council. Weatherholtz, who also was with Bucks Consulting, graduated from Pennsylvania State University. He is an enrolled actuary and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and lives in Reisterstown.

Shapiro Sher Guinot names Harlan partner

Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler named Eric R. Harlan a litigation partner in the Baltimore law firm. He concentrates his practice on general litigation, including commercial, consumer protection and personal injury cases. Before joining the firm as a associate, he was with Freishtat and Sandler. A resident of Lutherville, the University of Baltimore law graduate is a member of the Maryland and Baltimore bar associations.

Dudley made a principal at KLNB Commercial

KLNB Commercial Real Estate Services elected Peter I. Dudley as a principal. He specializes in sale and leasing of warehouse and industrial properties in the Mid-Atlantic region. Formerly with Smithy Braedon, he is assigned to firm's NAI KLNB division in Towson.
