Blast tonight

Matchup: Cleveland Force (15-19) vs. Blast (24-10)

Site: 1st Mariner Arena

Time: 7:35

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: Some of the edge went out of this game when the Monterrey Fury upset St. Louis, 6-3, Wednesday. That outcome knocked the Steamers out of the playoff chase and locked up at least the sixth seed for Cleveland. But the Force can still move up to the fifth spot with back-to-back wins tonight and tomorrow in Philadelphia. And there is pride on the line for the Force, which has yet to beat the Blast this season in five tries. The game remains important to the Blast, which continues to have a chance to secure the MISL's best overall record that carries home field advantage throughout the postseason. This is the first of back-to-back games for the Blast, which is home to Milwaukee tomorrow night.
