Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shooting: A 15-year-old boy was riding his bicycle in the first block of N. Morley St. about 8 p.m. Wednesday when another youth, also on a bike, shot him in the leg. Police said a small quantity of cocaine was found in the victim's pocket before he was taken by ambulance to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Western District

Arrest: A man charged in warrants with attempted murder was arrested Wednesday morning in a Woodlawn motel. Members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force found Bruce Wright, 33, of the first block of N. Carrollton Ave., in a room at the Quality Inn Motel in the 6700 block of Security Blvd. He is charged in the shootings Monday of Ricky Thorne Jr. and Jermaine Whittington, both 21, in the first block of N. Carlton St.

Northwestern District

Arson: Several fires were set late Wednesday in the basement of a vacant two-story house in the 4000 block of Belle Ave.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Marshall Clarke, 22, was walking in the first block of Swan Bridge Court about 11 p.m. Tuesday when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun equipped with a laser sight that projected a red aiming dot on Clarke's chest. Clarke was robbed of a jacket, wallet and cell phone.

Robbery: Ammar Ahmad, 30, was walking along Baltimore National Pike near the Baltimore Beltway about 8 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of $15 and a cell phone.

Cockeysville Precinct

Armed carjacking: An 81-year-old woman was placing items into her car in the first block of W. Aylesbury Road about 5 p.m. Wednesday when a man with a knife cut her on the hand and robbed her of $60 and her 1991 Toyota Camry with tags RNK 076.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into Poor Little Rich Girl, a clothing store in the 9000 block of Belair Road, Tuesday and removed $400 from a cash register.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Full Moon restaurant in the 1100 block of Westminster Pike Wednesday and removed $600 from a cash drawer.

Burglary: A laptop computer, two DVD players and stereo equipment - all valued at $4,320 - were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 11800 block of Maren Court.
