Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Arrest: A man charged in a warrant with first-degree murder was arrested Tuesday in the 100 block of W. Lombard St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force, who had him under surveillance. James Jones, 27, of the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. is charged with shooting Terry Malone, 42, of no fixed address, on March 21 in the 600 block of N. Dukeland St.

Northeastern District

Arrest: Sean Cox, 18, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 6100 block of Alta Ave. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Cox is charged with shooting Angelo Grier, 18, in the 4400 block of Frankford Ave. on March 20.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A 26-year-old man from North Carolina was struck in the face by another man in a restroom at Baltimore Travel Plaza in the 5600 block of O'Donnell St. late Monday and robbed of $700 and a cell phone.

Stolen vehicle: A green 1994 Dodge van with handicap tags 04213 was stolen Monday in the 1000 block of Baylis St.

Eastern District

Theft: College-entry examination books valued at $221 were stolen March 23 after being left on the floor of a carryout in the 1200 block of E. North Ave. The theft was reported Tuesday.

Stolen vehicle: A black 2003 Chevrolet Malibu with tags LGS 221 was stolen Tuesday in the 500 block of E. Eager St.

Southwestern District

Robbery/cutting: Trying to stop two men from stealing a case of beer, the owner of Pop's Liquors in the 2300 block of Wilkens Ave. was cut on the neck and elbow about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday as one of them pulled out a knife. The owner was treated at the scene.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 31, was unloading her car in the 400 block of Shirley Manor Road about 9 p.m. Tuesday when three teen-age boys, one with a handgun, robbed her of a bag containing a stethoscope, perfume and a laptop computer.

Stolen vehicle: Police were seeking two females who used fake identification to take a white 2004 Ford Expedition with dealer tags 1A85054 for a test ride from Len Stoler Ford in the 11200 block of Reisterstown Road about 8 p.m. Monday. The $35,000 vehicle was not returned.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A man was walking across the Crosby Road bridge above the Baltimore Beltway about 11 a.m. Tuesday when two males, one armed with an unknown weapon, robbed him of an undisclosed sum of cash.
