Thunderdome shreds

The gods of guitar rawk will descend on the Thunderdome Saturday. Swedish shredder Yngwie Malmsteen and Dokken's George Lynch will take the stage after doors open at 8 p.m.

Sonar mixes

British mixmaster LTJ Bukem is scheduled to take the decks Saturday at Sonar.

Founder of the Good Looking Records label, Bukem will rock the boards after MC Conrad and Bobby Jae put in time.

Retro at Hard Rock

The '80s flashback continues tonight with a performance by the Psychedelic Furs.

The gloomy Brit-pop band, perhaps best known for its classic songs "Love My Way" and "Pretty in Pink," will play a retro set at the Hard Rock Cafe.
