Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Drug arrests: Four men and a teen-age boy were arrested early Monday in two separate incidents and charged with drug offenses. Sgt. Allen Adkins and Officer Sean Dallessandro were in an unmarked car in the 1700 block of Hollins St. about 6 a.m. when they observed drug activity between four men. Arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin was Freddie Dixon, 50, of the 2100 block of Boyd St. Charged with attempting to possess heroin were James Whitcomb, 42, and Steven Lee, 40, both of the 1500 block of Cole St., and Mark Riley, 37, of the 500 block of S. Fulton Ave. Heroin valued at $800 and $126 was seized. An hour later, the officers arrested a 16-year-old boy they reported seeing in possession of three gel caps of heroin and two vials of cocaine. The youth was being held at the Juvenile Detention Center on South Gay Street.

Eastern District

Assault/arrest: After a man and woman struck each other with shopping carts in a liquor store in the 1200 block of N. Milton Ave. on Monday, the man pointed a handgun at the woman when she left the store. Arrested and charged with assault was Thomas Lee Scott, 68, of the 2100 block of E. Fayette St. A .22-caliber handgun was found in his car parked outside the store, police said.

Robbery try/shooting: A 21-year-old man was walking in the 1200 block of Autumnleaves Court about 2 a.m. Monday when a gunman demanded his money. When the victim pushed the gunman away, the weapon discharged twice, wounding the victim in the back and left arm. He ran home and was taken by a friend to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was treated. No arrest had been made.

Central District

Robbery: A man, 69, was doing his laundry in St. Paul Laundromat in the 700 block of St. Paul St. about 3 p.m. Monday when he was assaulted by another man and robbed of $90.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: A yellow all-terrain vehicle was stolen Monday from the rear yard of a house in the 600 block of Beverly Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Robberies: Two men, ages 36 and 39, were accosted by a pair of robbers moments apart on a foot bridge between Songbird Circle and Park Drive about 6 p.m. Saturday. One was robbed of his wallet and a Bible that was then tossed in the woods. The other was robbed of $3 and a bottle of beer.

Essex Precinct

Theft: A paint-ball gun valued at $1,100 was stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Hydraulic Drive in Middle River.
