Manchester woman, 72, dies in Route 30 collision with truck

A 72-year-old Manchester woman was killed in an auto accident on Route 30 last weekend when her car was hit by a Chevrolet truck hauling a horse trailer, state police in Westminster said.

Charlotte Reese Nos was driving a 1995 Cadillac south on Route 30 near Manchester shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday when she attempted to make a U-turn into the northbound lane. Police said a truck driven by Gary Giles Bowden of Hanover, Pa., hit the passenger side of Nos' car.

Nos was alone in the vehicle. She was taken to Carroll Hospital Center, where she was pronounced dead.
