Forum to showcase business opportunities

BAA Maryland Inc., an airport retail developer and manager, will hold a forum Wednesday for those interested in business opportunities including construction, design work and leasing at Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

BAA Maryland is developing new retail concessions at the airport. Among those encouraged to attend Wednesday's forum are small and minority business owners, and operators and entrepreneurs.

Aviation administration wins charity award

The Maryland Aviation Administration has been awarded the Maryland Cares Award by the Maryland Charity Campaign for increasing its number of givers by 25 percent during the 2003 campaign.

This was the first time the agency had received the honor, officials said.
