Loyola women recover for 12-7 win over Boston U.

Loyola's sixth-ranked women's lacrosse team overcame a 6-4 deficit by scoring seven goals in the second half for a 12-7 win over No. 13 Boston University yesterday at Diane Geppi-Aikens Field.

Rachel Shuck finished with two goals and an assist for the Greyhounds (6-1).

Alyssa Trudel had four goals for the Terriers (2-1).

Mount St. Mary's 16, Denver 8: The host Mount (4-3) - led by Erin LaMotte (North Carroll) with four goals - outscored the Pioneers (3-3) 13-2 in the second half in Emmitsburg.

Patience Baldwin had three goals for Denver.

Men

Salisbury 22, St. Mary's 3: Corey O'Neil, Andy Arnold and Scott Simmons combined for 12 goals as the host Sea Gulls (7-0, 4-0 Capital Athletic Conference) routed the Seahawks (3-4, 0-1).

Dave Mueller led St. Mary's with two goals.
