Matchup: Blast (22-9) vs. San Diego Sockers (13-18)

Site: San Diego Sports Arena

Time: 10

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: Time is getting short for San Diego to make a strong move for a playoff spot. And the going is rough. The Sockers played back-to-back games with Monterrey and traveled back to San Diego yesterday for today's home game with the Blast. The Blast is still fighting the Milwaukee Wave for first place overall in the MISL standings. The Blast will have a full lineup for tonight's game for the first time in several weeks. Danny Kelly (foot) will play after being able to practice this week, and defenseman Ibrahim Kante's paperwork was completed just before Sunday's game, and he will be available. Backup goalie Karim Moumban, who is on the suspended-with-pay list, surprised the team by returning this week from Europe, where he had been with his son, Adile, who is recovering from serious injuries. Moumban, who said his son is improving, will practice with the team though will not play. San Diego reports no injuries.
