Kyle Campbell

Franklin, shortstop-pitcher

A speedy shortstop who leads off for the Indians, Campbell hit .381 as a junior and will be counted on to pitch this season. Will attend Northwest Shoals (Ala.) CC.

Steve Clevenger

Mt. St. Joe, shortstop-pitcher

Outstanding defensively, second-team All-Metro as a junior and headed to Southeastern Louisiana, he batted .414 with 10 doubles, 17 RBIs and 22 runs.

Mike Corona

Glenelg, pitcher

The 6-1 right-hander is the Gladiators' ace who was 4-1 with a 3.05 ERA as a junior and batted .385 with 12 RBIs. Could lead Glenelg to 2A state title.

Chris Crum

Sev. Park, 3rd base-pitcher

Crum (6-2, 205) is ready to emerge as one of the area's premier hitters after batting .298 with three homers and 19 RBIs as a sophomore. Was 3-0 with one save as a pitcher.

Chad Durakis

St. Paul's, catcher

Returning All-Metro catcher headed to Maryland, batted .408 with four homers, 26 RBIs and 30 runs scored. Is superb handling pitchers and has a quick release.

Steve Johnson

St. Paul's, pitcher-infielder

The metro area's top player as a junior and a pro prospect is already a two-time All-Metro, going 15-2 with four saves and batting .356 (73-for-205) with 16 doubles, 47 RBIs and 68 runs scored in two seasons.

Jeff Poff

Mt. St. Joe, outfield-pitcher

All-Metro as a junior last year, Poff batted .443 with 30 runs scored and patrolled CF like a pro. Doubled as a pitcher (5-0) and will attend Northwest Shoals (Ala.) CC.

Dan Przybylski

Fallston, second base

Harford County's Player of the Year and an All-Metro selection as a junior who hit .459 with six triples, five homers and 28 RBIs moves over from SS to 2B this season.

Gavin Swanson

Calvert Hall, shortstop

The graduation of All-Metro shortstop Ryan Frey has resulted in Swanson (6-2, 200) moving from 1B to SS to fill the void. The George Washington signee batted .440 with three homers and 26 RBIs as a junior.

Joe Zimmerman

Arundel, outfield

A defensive gem in center field, this returning All-Anne Arundel County player hit .419 with 25 runs scored and 15 RBIs as a junior.
