The senior, who makes the move from second base to shortstop, hit .595 last season with 39 runs, 31 RBIs, 17 steals, eight doubles, eight triples, five homers and a whopping 1.089 slugging percentage.

Lindsay Lowder

Flawless in center and a menace at the top of the Indians' order, the speedy senior hit .453 with 16 steals last season.

Flashy at the hot corner and resourceful at the plate, the senior (.406 batting average, .986 fielding percentage last season) showed she could help win games a number of ways.

Sims (13-1, 1.12 ERA last season) added pitches to her repertoire and the sum total was more wins for the Class 2A semifinalist Gladiators.

The junior (15-3, 0.92 ERA last season) comes in hungry after throwing eight shutout innings before a 1-0 state semifinal loss against Class 3A state champ Severna Park.

The pure-hitting senior is coming off these staggering junior numbers: a .667 batting average with five homers, 31 RBIs and 28 runs.
