On March 17, 2004, ANN SIPP ROSS, 74, died in Naples, FL. A resident of Annapolis, she had been a winter resident of Naples since 1989. She graduated from Western High School in Baltimore in 1946. A graduate of University of Maryland and a life member of the University of Maryland Alumni Assoc., she had been a teacher for the Senior Outreach Programs at Anne Arundel Community College in Annapolis, MD. She was past president of Parole Edgewater Homemakers Club in Annapolis. A member of Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis, she was also active in the Marco Presbyterian Church. The beloved wife of Capt. Thomas Hugh Ross, USN (Ret.), she is also survived by her sons, Thomas George (Susanne Henley) Ross of Chester, MD; Douglas Alan Ross of Annapolis, MD; James William Ross of Earleville, MD; and her brother, George T. (Janet Cary) Sipp of Seabrook, TX; 8 grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 21st, following the 10:30 service at Marco Presbyterian Church, 875 W. Elkcam Circle, Marco Island. A Memorial Service at Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis will be announced, followed by inurnment, will be at the U.S. Naval Academy Columbarium in Annapolis.
