Bicyclist, 33, dies after being struck by tractor-trailer

A 33-year-old bicyclist was killed yesterday morning when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was struck by a tractor-trailer, police said.

Wesley Boulware of the 200 block of Bolivar Ave. in Baltimore left an Exxon station on Nursery Road at 9:18 a.m., attempting to travel north, county police reported. Boulware did not stop before entering the road and was hit by a truck driven by Eddie Lee Hardy of Virginia.

Police said Boulware was pronounced dead at the scene and that Hardy, 35, was not injured. County police said they would continue to investigate the collision.
