Matchup: Blast (22-8) vs. Milwaukee Wave (21-8)

Site: U.S. Cellular Arena, Milwaukee

Time: 2 p.m.

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: The Blast wants to have the best overall record in the Major Indoor Soccer League when the playoffs start so it can have home-field advantage throughout the postseason. To get it, it will likely have to help itself, and that means beating Milwaukee. "It's a big game," said Blast captain Tarik Walker, "but it's not an end-of-the-world game." The team will have another shot at the Wave - in the season finale - and right now perhaps can find comfort in the fact it has clinched a playoff spot. The Wave also has clinched, having wrapped up the Central title. This game will not be easy for the Blast, which has a string of injuries. D Dewan Bader (hamstring) and F Chris Handsor (ankle) are both probable, D Neil Gilbert (hamstring) is questionable and D Danny Kelly (foot) is doubtful. The team will also be without F P.J. Wakefield, who was suspended for one game for a red card last week in the team's 9-8 win over San Diego.
