On March 11, 2004, in N. Fort Myers, FL, CHARLES W. "Charlie" TUCKER, formerly of Baltimore, MD; loving husband of Mary Merryman Tucker; dear father of Loretta Schell and her husband Keith, Linda Howard and her husband William, Charles Merryman and his wife Mary and Patricia Tucker; father-in-law to Andy Rimando; dear grandfather of Jon R. Rimando and his wife Michelle, Teresa (Teri) Williams and her husband Donald, Kristen Havins, Amber Merryman and the late Dawn Marie Harvey; dear great-grandfather of Monique (Nikki) Merryman, Ciara Havins, Julianna Rimando, Alexis Rimando and Cameron Williams. Also survived by two sisters and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Charlie was a WWII veteran. He served in the Pacific Philippines. Charlie was captured in the Baton Death March and was a prisoner of war in Japan. He retired in 1985 after 23 years with Westinghouse. Charlie moved to Florida and was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the VFW. Friends may call at the Loudon Park Funeral Home, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 A.M. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
