Two men were killed and two others were injured in separate accidents early yesterday in Baltimore County, police said.

Randy Koller, 24, of the 1300 block of Sanfield Road in Baldwin was killed in a 2 a.m. accident on Hillen Road near Dogwood Lane, police said. Koller was the rear-seat passenger in a Ford F-250 pickup truck that swerved across Hillen Road, hit a utility pole and then a tree, police said.

The driver, Richard Maliszewski, 28, of the 8500 block of Harford Road in Parkville, was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.

The front-seat passenger, Jason Bowser, 23, of the first block of Stoneway Place in Perry Hall, was in critical but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Police said the accident was under investigation.

About the same time in Brooklandville, a 28-year-old Owings Mills man was killed after he lost control of his Jeep Cherokee and the vehicle struck a tree off Seminary Avenue, police said.

Jason Horich, of the 12000 block of Greenspring Ave., was driving west on Seminary Avenue near Hill Spring Drive when the SUV went off the right side of the road, hit the tree and caught fire, police said.

That accident was also under investigation, police said.
