Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Drug arrests: A man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday by two undercover police officers and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute the drug. Officers Sean Dallesandro and Chris Kaikai were hiding in the 2000 block of W. Pratt St. when they observed the pair with drugs. A search of the two revealed 35 vials of cocaine hidden in their socks. Nearly $170 was also seized. Charged were Damion Dowling, 23, of the 1700 block of W. Fayette St., and the teen-ager from the 900 block of Braddish Ave.

Central District

Theft/arrest: Officer Christian Smith was patrolling Newington Avenue in Reservoir Hill Wednesday night while investigating the theft of a purse from a car in the 100 block of Mosher St. when he spotted a man fitting the description of the person seen walking from the vehicle. Arrested and charged with theft from the 1999 Honda Accord was David Garland, 33, of the 700 block of Newington Ave.

Western District

Stolen vehicle: A four-door silver 2002 Hyundai Elantra with tags JJB 663 was parked in the 2100 block of W. North Ave. Tuesday with its engine running when someone stole it.

Southeastern District

Arrest: Members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force entered a house in the 400 block of N. Glover St. yesterday morning and arrested Andre Manair, 24, of the 400 block of N. Linwood Ave. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Manair is accused of shooting Ronald Kearney, 29, of the 4400 block of Shamrock Ave. Feb. 5 during an incident in the 600 block of N. Curley St.

Burglary: Jewelry and a portable combination compact disc player/radio -- all valued at $500 -- were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1800 block of E. Lombard St.

Eastern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1997 Ford Expedition sport utility vehicle with tags M943324 was stolen Wednesday in the 1600 block of N. Washington St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment, two cordless telephones, a videocassette recorder, DVD player, a wallet and a 27-inch television were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2800 block of Presstman St.

Stolen vehicle: A 1996 Cadillac DeVille with tags LLW 600 was stolen from the 600 block of Lyndhurst St. between March 5 and Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary/arrest: Officer Seung Pak stopped a Dodge Dynasty at York and Warren roads about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday because it was being driven recklessly. He saw property in the vehicle, including a typewriter once owned by Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., that was traced to a burglary moments earlier at Hogan Auctioneers in the 10500 block of York Road. Charged with burglary was Richard F. Joyce III of the first block of Quaker Court in Sparks. Joyce, 36, was being held on $15,000 bail.

Franklin Precinct

Bank robbery: A gunman wearing a mask entered Sun Trust Bank in the 10300 block of Reisterstown Road about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, jumped the counter and ordered three tellers to remove money from their stations. The bandit escaped with an undisclosed sum in a stolen car that was later recovered.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Nine television sets, a computer, stereo equipment and a DVD/videocassette recorder -- all valued at nearly $4,000 -- were stolen Wednesday from a trailer parked outside Wal-Mart in the 6400 block of Petrie Way.
