Founded in: 2000

Style: Indie-rock

Influenced by: Spoon and Guided By Voices.

Notable: In four years, local favorite the Oranges Band has transformed into a national powerhouse with cross-country tours, videos and critically acclaimed recordings under its belt. The group's latest effort, a CD called All Around, was released last April by Berkeley, Calif.'s, Lookout! Records and has since sold thousands of units worldwide.

Quotable: Kuebler on representing Charm City when T.O.B. takes to the road: "There's better music in Baltimore than I've heard anywhere else. We definitely try and promote [the local scene] as much as we can."
