Jays women stop Towson

ATTACK MARLENA WITTELS — The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse team scored the first five goals of the second half to break open a close game and then hung on for a 14-12 victory over visiting Towson last night.

Attack Marlena Wittels- berger scored three goals for the No. 17 Blue Jays (3-0), and Mary Key added two goals and three assists.

The Tigers (3-1) trimmed a 13-7 deficit to 13-11 but could get no closer.
