On March 7, 2004, WALTER ADAM LUBINSKI, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth M. Lubinski (nee Shepp), devoted father of Walter J. and Joseph F. Lubinski, dear brother of Madeline Angelier, Louise Carter and James Lubinski all of Florida. Loving grandfather of Emily, Zachary and John Lubinski and Stacey Ann Coffman. Dear friend and companion of Leila "Sally" Ashton Friends may call at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Ave. on Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Hope Church on Wednesday at 11 A.M. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemeterylong-time Ruxton resident and community activist, died after a short illness. She was a member of the vestry of the Church of the Good Shepherd and was a strong supporter of Planned Parenthood and other progressive causes. She was an officer of the Hardy Garden Club. For the last ten years Mrs. Muth was a resident of Blakehurst in Towson. Born in New York City in 1915, Alice Muth graduated first in her class from Hunter College and as a young graduate was one of the first women to hold a top job at Young & Rubicam, a leading New York advertising agency, working for George Gallup. In the 1980's she was an activist in the Democratic Party and was Maryland chair of Congressman John Anderson's Campaign for President. She was especially proud of her role in the successful U.S. House and U.S. Senate campaigns of her son-in-law, Timothy E. Wirth of Colorado. She is survived by three daughters, Wren Wirth of Boulder, Colorado, Robin Kellogg of Towson, and Pamela Green of Washington D.C. She is also survived by three step-daughters, Joan Jenness and Ritchie Mommers of Maine and Ceci Herman of Bel Air; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her long-time special friend, Roy Kelley, also of Blakehurst. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Ruxton on Thursday afternoon, March 11, at 4 P.M. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, any Memorial contributions be made to Planned Parenthood of Maryland or to the Kerry for President campaign.
