Long Reach board seeks candidates

Nomination petitions are available through March 21 for members of the Long Reach Community Association who are interested in running for village office. Three board members will be elected April 24 to serve two-year terms.

Members of the community association include owners or lease-holding tenants of lien-paying properties in the village. To be on the ballot, each candidate must submit a completed election petition and candidate statement by 10 a.m. March 22.

Information packets, including petition forms and election rules, are available at Stonehouse in Long Reach Village Center. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
