No. 17 Towson speeds right past Providence, 12-3

Despite Providence's efforts to slow the pace early, No. 17 Towson scored five first-quarter goals and rolled to a 12-3 victory over the visiting Friars (0-2) yesterday.

Jonathan Engelke, Drew Pfarr, Brian Myers and Steve Mull each scored twice for Towson (1-1).

Salisbury 19, Ohio Wesleyan 5: Andy Arnold scored six goals to lead the host Sea Gulls (4-0) over the Bishops (2-1).

Women

College of Notre Dame 16, Saint Vincent 15: Lori Baron scored six goals - including the winner in the third overtime - for the visiting Gators (2-1). Hannah Doblick's school-record eight goals led Saint Vincent (0-1).
