Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Shooting: Police were seeking the man who shot Ronald Kearny, 20, of Northeast Baltimore late Friday as he stood next to a parked van in the 600 block of N. Curley St. Kearny was shot in the upper body by a man riding past him on a bicycle. He was reported in critical condition last night at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Stolen vehicle: A silver-colored 2004 Toyota Mountaineer sport utility vehicle with tags 175M733 was stolen over the weekend in the 2100 block of Boston St.

Stolen vehicle: A brown 1997 Chrysler Cirrus with tags A012221 was stolen Friday in the 600 block of Dundalk Ave., after the driver had parked outside a Dunkin' Donuts and left the keys in the vehicle.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man, 63, was walking in the 1400 block of E. Preston St. about 11 p.m. Friday when he was attacked by at least five other males, one armed with a metal object. He was robbed of about $260.

Stolen vehicle: A 1990 white tractor with tags 179 F50 was stolen Saturday in the 4300 block of Eastern Ave.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A 48-year-old woman was walking in the 600 block of Nottingham Road about 7 p.m. Saturday after grocery shopping when a man stepped from an alley and tried to steal her purse. During a struggle, the woman threw a bag of groceries at him, but he got away with the purse.

Northern District

Robbery: A woman was walking in the 3400 block of N. Charles St. about 11 p.m. Friday when a gunman robbed her of $30.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Dunkin' Donuts in the 8000 block of Liberty Road of more than $100 about 3 a.m. Saturday.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Coins, many of them collectibles and all valued at $4,500, were stolen from a townhouse in the first block of Benwell Road between Feb. 29 and Friday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A battery charger and tools - all valued at $445 - were stolen from a shed in the 20300 block of Gunpowder Road between Feb. 29 and Saturday.

Burglary: Someone broke into Hereford Pharmacy in the 200 block of Mount Carmel Road through a hole in the roof over the weekend and stole a quantity of prescription drugs.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft/arrest: A man, 64, was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave Wal-Mart in the 6400 block of Petrie Way without paying for a radio valued at $230.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: An air compressor and lawnmower were stolen over the weekend from the back yard of a house in the 2000 block of Hackberry Road. They were valued at $600.
