On February 27, 2004, ELWOOD "WOODY" DAVENPORT, after a long illness, passed away peacefully at Manorcare Towson. Beloved husband of Joanne (nee Vitak); father of Shelly German; brother of Mary Muller and Edward Davenport; grandfather of three. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 9 at 10 A.M. Please omit flowers.4, 2004, BARBARA KANE DIGGS; beloved wife of Vernon J. Diggs; loving mother of David and Suzanne Diggs; devoted grandmother of J.R. and Rebecca Diggs; cherished sister of Lawrence J. Kane and the late Mary Lou Schultz; daughter of the late Marie and George Kane. Barbara touched so many of us with her indomitable spirit and love. Family, friends, and students will miss her very much and remember her often. Friends may call at the family owned Evans Chapel of Memories - Parkville on Saturday and Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., where a Wake service will be held on Sunday at 8:30 P.M. A funeral liturgy will be held 9 A.M. Monday at St. Ursula Church. Interment private.
