4-H and FFA Fair to hold Longaberger basket bingo night

The Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair will hold a basket bingo featuring Longaberger baskets Friday at the Carroll County Agriculture Center on Smith Avenue in Westminster.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and games will begin at 7 p.m. with 22 games, door prizes, raffles, specials and concessions. All baskets will be filled with goodies donated by local businesses and sponsors. Tickets are $15.

Proceeds will benefit the Carroll County 4-H and FFA Fair. The fair showcases local agriculture. More than 1,100 Carroll County youths exhibit and demonstrate their 4-H and FFA projects during the weeklong event at the agriculture center.

Tom Marshall named audit and review director

Tom Marshall of Westminster was recently hired as director of audit and review for MidAtlantic Farm Credit.

He will work out of MidAtlantic's Westminster headquarters, where he will oversee internal credit and appraisal reviews, as well as operational audits.

His experience includes director of risk management at Farm Credit of Western New York and working for the Farm Credit Administration.

Marshall has a degree in agricultural business management and a master's in economics from the University of Delaware. He also is a graduate of the American Bankers Association's Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
