On March 4, 2004 BARLEY Le BON; beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend, was born June 4, 1925, in De Ridder, Louisiana to Benjamin Kneal Stracener and Beulah Stracener. Then 14 years later, married the love of her life Charles L. Le Bon, a United States Army Sergeant, from Baltimore, Maryland. They shared a wondrous marriage of fifty-six unforgettable years. Known as the family's "politician", Barley was never one to play favorites. Her unique ability to create stunning floral arrangements brought many accolades from brides and bereaved families throughout the area. Barley Lebon has left an impression in all that she has touched in her lifetime, and helped create many precious memories that will never be forgotten. Her accomplishments, virtues, and unforgettable character will be cherished and live on forever in the minds of those who loved her. Barley is survived by two daughters; Dorethea Mc Gee and husband Claude Mc Gee, of Salisbury, MD, Bobby Sue Wojciechowski and husband Michael Wojciechowski, of Halethorpe, MD; four sons; Benny M. Le Bon and wife Dolores P. Le Bon, of Norfolk, VA, Harry F. Le Bon and wife Patricia Le Bon, of Arbutus, MD, Timothy L. Lebon and wife Diane Le Bon, of Halethorpe, MD; George Le Bon and wife Kathleen Le Bon of Halethorpe, MD; son-in-law Martin Seymer of Halethorpe, MD, daughter-in-law, Patricia Le Bon, of Baytown, TX; 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Barley was preceded in this life by: Parents, Benjamin and Beulah Stracener; husband, Charles Louis Le Bon; daughter, Beulah Patricia Seymer; son, Charles Louis Le Bon, Jr; grandson, Martin Seymer, III; granddaughter, Wanda Mc Gee; sisters, Cecil Monk, Vallee Rowan and Exalaine Bruney. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge (exit 6 of Rt. 100), on Saturday and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. and to attend a funeral service on Monday 11 A.M. at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1518 N. Rolling Rd., Baltimore, MD. Interment Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Inc.
