Fountain G. Harrington, 68, salesman, veteran

Fountain G. "Harry" Harrington, a retired salesman and East Baltimore resident, died of a brain tumor Saturday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was 68.

Mr. Harrington was born and raised in Greenville, N.C., and served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1962.

He moved to Baltimore in the early 1960s and held a variety of sales jobs, including videos and locks for vending machines. The longtime East Monument Street resident retired in 2000.

No funeral was planned.

Mr. Harrington is survived by a son, Pete Harrington of Sykesville; a daughter, Donna L. Harrington of Stevensville; a sister, Barbara James of Greenville, N.C.; and two grandsons. His marriage to the former Rose Brundage ended in divorce.
