On Monday, March 1, 2004, GENEVIEVE P. ELLIOTT, of Williamsburg. Mrs. Elliott taught fourth grade for four years in Hume before moving to Washington D.C., and working as a bookkeeper for Southern Railway. She was the head of the women's group in St. Timothy's Episcopal Church and was also active in the Catonsville Concert Association. Mrs Elliott was an accomplished bridge player as well as an avid gardener for 40 years and served as president of the Catonsville Chapter Garden Club of America. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lloyd Elliott; her daughters, Kathryn E. Douglass and Susan E. Benninghoff; her grandchildren, Robert Douglass, Caroline Douglass and Nicholas Benninghoff. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, March 8, in the main building at Williamsburg Landing. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
