Antique bottle show

Interested in antique bottles? The Baltimore Antique Bottle Club presents its 24th annual show and sale Sunday at the Essex campus of the Community College of Baltimore County.

Visitors can pore over more than 300 tables brimming with bottles, jars, stoneware, tins, breweriana and more. Dealers have come from 25 states and four countries to present their collectibles. Attendees are invited to bring their old bottles for free appraisals. There will also be educational displays, food concessions and more.

The bottle show runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Athletic Center on the Essex campus of the Community College of Baltimore County, 7201 Rossville Blvd. $3; free for ages under 12. Call 410-531-9459.

Pancake breakfast

Hope you're hungry. With the maple-syrup season wrapping up this weekend at Oregon Ridge Nature Center in Cockeysville, it's time for its 19th annual pancake breakfast. Visitors can enjoy hot pancakes covered in sweet maple syrup, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee.

There also will be maple syrup, maple candy, flowers and handicrafts for sale, door prizes, raffles and activities for the kids.

The pancake breakfast takes place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday at Oregon Ridge Park Lodge, 13401 Beaver Dam Road, Cockeysville. $5; $2.50 ages 2-8. Call 410-887-1815.

Maple Sugarin' Fest

What, you're still hungry for more pancakes? Well, head to the Maple Sugarin' Festival at Hashawha Environmental Center in Westminster Sunday. You can sit down to a pancake brunch, watch maple syrup demonstrations, enjoy taste testings, shop for country crafts and more.

The festival runs 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Hashawha Environmental Center, 300 John Owings Road, Westminster. $2 per vehicle. Call 410-848-9040.
