Maryland Institute College of Art graduate student Hayes Bowie displays her new two-dimensional creations and sculptures at Galerie Francoise et Ses Freres.

The Pennsylvania native's exhibition of mixed-media works and found-object assemblages will run through March 20.

Galerie Francoise et Ses Freres is at 2360 W. Joppa Road, Lutherville. Hours are noon-4 p.m. Sundays and noon-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays. Call 410-337-2787.

Plants and animals

Victorian-era botanical prints are the focus of Exotica: Plant Portraits From Around the World, on display beginning Sunday at St. John's College in Annapolis.

More than 60 hand-painted lithographs, etchings and engravings of plants and animals will be on view in the college's Mitchell Gallery through April 23.
