Wallace, Rosemarie "Skip"

On January 31, 2004 ROSEMARIE (SKIP) WALLACE, 74, passed away in Mesa, AZ. She was born October 13, 1929, in Baltimore, MD. She is survived by a sister, Deborah Habersat, a nephew, James Habersat, Jr., a niece, Gwen Habersat, a great nephew, Devin Habersat, and long-time companion, Tabb Forster. Ms. Wallace, a graduate of Towson State College for Teachers and Johns Hopkins University, was a teacher, counselor and administrator in the Baltimore City public schools for 30 years. Ms. Wallace was an active Presbyterian, having served as elder and deacon. She functioned as moderator of Baltimore Presbytery and as stated clerk of the Synod of the Southwest. She served as a commissioner to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church and chaired a committee of that body. Ms. Wallace sang with Arizona Women in Tune and was a member of Pi Lambda Theta. In Tempe, AZ, a memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 at 2:00 p.m. at University Presbyterian Church, 139 E. Alameda Dr., Tempe, AZ. In Baltimore, MD, a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 6 at 11:30 a.m., at Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Ave., Baltimore, MD, followed by a short graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ghost Ranch, More Light Presbyterians, Arizona Women in Tune, or the Arizona Human Rights Fund.
