Two 20-year-old Severn men were arrested Sunday and charged with sexual offenses after Maryland State Police were called to a Hampstead house by two 15-year-old girls, one of whom accused one man of raping her while she was intoxicated, authorities said yesterday.

Anthony S. Lee of the 8000 block of Averill Court was charged with second-degree rape and second-degree assault as well as other sex offenses and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police said. Darrien J. Hanner of the 8000 block of Parham Court was charged with a fourth-degree sexual offense.

The two men arrived at the Hampstead home of one of the girls about 9 p.m. Saturday, accompanied by both girls, police said. Five teen-age boys also were at the house, according to charging documents. The documents stated that Lee had bought liquor at a store in Severn.

Lee and one of the girls drank until the girl began to lose consciousness, according to the documents. It was during this time, the girl told police, that Lee assaulted her.

The two girls later called 911 and the intoxicated girl was taken to Carroll Hospital Center, police said.

According to the charging documents, the other 15-year- old girl told police that she did not drink any liquor but that she had sex with Hanner in another bedroom.

The Sun does not name victims of sexual assault.

State police said they tracked down the two men at about 4 a.m. Sunday. They were taken to the Carroll County Detention Center and were released on bond yesterday.
