Businesses will be off and running for a good cause Saturday. The Corporate Challenge Race will have businesses of varying sizes competing in races of different lengths.

The race benefits the Scott B. Deutschman Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Gilman School and the Scott B. Deutschman grant at the American Heart Association.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

COMING UP

Clues will be everywhere during the Howard County Scavenger Hunt, which begins Saturday.

The event takes place in Ellicott City, Oella Mill and Savage Mill.

Contestants will match clues to items at participating venues and have the chance to win prizes, which vary depending on location.

The hunt runs through Feb. 29.

Admission is free.
