`Kidstuff' in Hampden

Children's book author and illustrator Kevin O'Malley exhibits his work at Paper-Rock-Scissors gallery in Hampden.

Kidstuff, which runs through April 3, features mixed media assemblages and dozens of original drawings.

Paper-Rock-Scissors is at 1111 W. 36th St. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays.

At Mission Space

Earth tones, smooth brushstrokes and puzzling scenes are the focus of Scott Fishpaw's paintings, on display at the Mission Space gallery.

The exhibition features 22 of the Baltimore artist's compositions of oil on poplar planks, including a number of works that depict melancholy figures surrounded by or entangled in deep green foliage.

The show will remain on view through March 6.
