Adrienne Harris scored a game-high 29 points, and visiting Mount St. Mary's reached the .500 mark in the Northeast Conference with an 81-54 victory over Monmouth, the league's second-place team, in West Long Branch, N.J.

The Mountaineers (8-15, 7-7) built a 20-point lead by halftime, converted 20 Hawks turnovers into 18 points, and turned the ball over only eight times themselves.

Courtney Lumpkin scored 16 points to lead Monmouth (13-9, 9-4). Niamh Dwyer added 15, and Jewonda Bright scored 11 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

Howard 61, Coppin State 57: Leisel Harry scored 31 points and pulled down 17 rebounds for the host Eagles (13-10, 9-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), but the Bison won (8-14, 8-5) with a balanced scoring attack.

Delaware State 55, Morgan State 37: The host Lady Bears (2-21, 2-12) fell behind by 17 in the first half after shooting 19 percent from the field and could not recover. Najmah Fauntleroy led the Hornets (16-6, 11-2 MEAC) with 21 points. Candace Holmes, Sharonda Watson and Whitney Johnson each had eight for Morgan.

UMES 94, South Carolina State 61: Tiffany Winkfield had her 13th double double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds as the Lady Hawks (9-14, 4-10) defeated the visiting Lady Bulldogs (8-14, 5-8).

Hood 94, Chestnut Hill 68: Katie Brennan scored a career-high 28 points to help the Blazers (17-7, 11-0 Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference) clinch the top seed in the league tournament.

Hood's Mandy Fischer finished with 13 points and hit three three-pointers, giving her 290 for her career and moving her into sixth place on Division III's all-time list.

Bethanne Castone led the Griffins (13-9, 7-2) with 15 points.

Men

UMES 64, South Carolina State 61: Tee Trotter scored 21 points and Antoine Joiner added 12 to lift the host Hawks (7-16, 6-8) over the Bulldogs (12-10, 9-4) in a MEAC game.

Salisbury 98, Villa Julie 92: Wade Henninger scored a career-high 44 for Villa Julie, but the Mustangs (9-16) committed five turnovers late in the game and lost. Sean Whittaker scored 23 points in 20 minutes for the visiting Sea Gulls (7-15).

Hood 85, Chestnut Hill 80: The host Blazers (11-11) shot 53 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Griffins 41-24. Santo Provenzano hit 13 of 22 shots and finished with 29 points to lead Hood. Dennis Tressler added 24 on 7-for-13 shooting.

Isaac Greer scored 22 points to lead five double-figure scorers for the Griffins (12-12).
