CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Monica Cherry scored 17 points as the College of Notre Dame basketball team took a late first-half lead and downed Wilson, 64-53 last night.

The Gators (11-9, 4-6 Atlantic Women's Collegiate Conference) took a 25-23 lead with 4:19 left in the first half over the Phoenix (2-18, 0-9) and never looked back.
