A Glen Burnie man was arrested yesterday on charges that he caused an auto accident that killed an Elkridge woman in October.

Christopher Michael Rider, 19, of the 6400 block of Roots Drive was charged with 10 crimes, including driving under the influence of alcohol and negligent homicide. Rider is accused of illegally trying to pass other southbound cars on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard and crashing into a Toyota Celica, police said.

The driver of the Toyota, Lisa Michelle Foster, died at the scene. Her two passengers were hurt.

Rider was being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center in lieu of bail last night.
