Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Arrest: A 16-year-old boy charged in a warrant with first-degree murder in the shooting of a man in December was arrested early Saturday in Roland's Billiards in the 400 block of E. 25th St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force. Asmar Holland of the 700 block of Bartlett Ave. is charged with fatally shooting Earl Ross, 33, in the victim's home in the 600 block of Bartlett on Dec. 1.

Burglary: A guitar was stolen during the weekend from a room at Latter Day Miracle Church in the 2100 block of Ashland Ave.

Robbery: A gunman forced his way into Pop's Grocery in the 900 block of N. Chester St. about 9:30 a.m. Sunday through a rear door, ordered the owner to remove money from a cash register, and fled with a small sum.

Western District

Robbery: Jamal Grey, 21, was robbed of $144 about 5 a.m. in the 1400 block of Mountmor Court by four men - two wearing badges - who stepped out of a sport utility vehicle.

Northwestern District

Drug arrests: Police said more arrests are expected in connection with the arrest on drug charges last week of a couple in a 1998 Buick outside a KFC outlet in the 3900 block of Reisterstown Road, and the seizure of 5 pounds of marijuana valued at $5,000, a tally sheet showing recent sales of 27 pounds of marijuana, and the car. Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana were Tyrone Fortune, 33, of the 2300 block of Ocala Ave. and Jinaka Watts, 18, of the 1400 block of Presstman St.

Robbery try: Five men were attempting to rob a couple in the 2700 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway at gunpoint about 9:30 p.m. Sunday when they spotted an approaching police patrol car and fled.

Stolen vehicle: A gold-colored 1999 Ford Taurus with tags KED 508 was stolen during the weekend in the 3400 block of Pinkney Road.

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1990 Chevrolet Corsica with tags KRK 287 was stolen Sunday in the 4100 block of Calloway Ave.

Central District

Theft: Softball equipment valued at $1,075 was stolen Sunday from a 2000 Ford pickup truck in the 300 block of E. Pratt St.

Theft: A cellular phone and 15 compact discs - all valued at $650 - were stolen Sunday from a 2004 GMC Denali sport utility vehicle parked in a garage in the first block of S. Howard St.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Video games, a leather jacket and a DVD player were stolen during the weekend from an apartment in the 6600 block of Collinsdale Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A Rolling Rock beer ice bucket, video games and cash were stolen during the weekend from an apartment in the 300 block of Malcolm Circle.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Three DVD players and 33 DVDs were stolen Sunday from a townhouse in the first block of Bon Oak Court in Reisterstown by someone who entered through the front door.
