Three men were killed last night in Baltimore in separate and apparently unrelated shootings in the space of about an hour, police spokesmen said.

About 9 p.m., a man was fatally shot three or four times in his left side and multiple times in his upper torso as he sat at the wheel of his car in the 2700 block of E. Eager St. in East Baltimore.

A woman sitting next to him, who was shot several times in the abdomen and once in the right side, was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital in critical condition. There were no arrests and no known motive for the shooting, Detective Donnie Moses said.

About 9:15 p.m., a man was fatally shot in the head on the 5000 block of Frederick Ave. in Southwest Baltimore.

The gunman had argued with his victim before opening fire, police said.

Shortly before 10 p.m., a man was fatally shot in the head on the 1800 block of Mosher St. in West Baltimore, Moses said.

Police had not released the identities of any of the victims as of late last night.
