Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery try: A 35-year-old Dundalk resident was standing in the 2200 block of Eastern Ave. about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when another man armed with a knife demanded his money. Before the victim could respond, a male friend of the victim approached and the robber fled.

Stabbing: Police were seeking an 18-year-old woman in the stabbing Monday night of a girl, 15, during an argument in a house in the 100 block of N. Curley St. The victim, stabbed in the back with a large knife, was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Burglary: Using a key left in the front door lock, an intruder entered a house in the 600 block of S. Ponca St. on Tuesday but fled in surprise without any property when the occupant walked into the living room.

Northern District

Robbery: Moments after walking from a bank Tuesday morning, a 60-year-old man was robbed of an undisclosed sum by two men, one of them armed with what appeared to be a handgun.

Western District

Robbery: A man in his 70s was walking in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. about 11 a.m. Tuesday when two men, one wearing a bright yellow parka, robbed him of a plastic bag he was carrying. The victim then entered the nearby Lenny's Check Cashing, and moments later, the man in the yellow parka also entered the store and robbed him of a second plastic bag - this one containing a bus pass, more than $100 and $208 in travelers' checks.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Dew Drop Inn in the 12000 block of Philadelphia Road through a rear door early Tuesday and removed an undisclosed sum of cash and coins from two poker machines and a Keno machine. An undisclosed sum of cash was also removed from the office.

Essex Precinct

Dog bite: Released by a female resident into the back yard of a home in the 2200 block of Vandermast Lane about 11:20 p.m., a dog bit a man who was there, preparing to break into the house. The man fled and was being sought.

Vandalism: Five tires on three vehicles parked on Silver Maple Court near Buttonwood Lane were damaged between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: A deliveryman for Maxime Chinese Carryout in the first block of Franklin Blvd. was taking an order to a house in the 200 block of Carraway Road about 2 p.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of the food and money.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into Vizzini's Pizza and Subs in the 900 block of Leeds Ave. through a rear door Tuesday and removed $145 from a cash register.
