Suddenly, on January 26, 2004, AARON KRUTE, 79, He is survived by his second wife of 25 years, Rona B. Sayetta, M.D.; and five grown children, Laurence D. Krute in NY, Daniel J. Krute in MD, Michael A, Dara J. and Robert W. Krute in FL; and two grandchildren, Zoe and Maya Krute. The only child of Russian immigrant parents, Mr. Krute grew up in Cambridge, MA and graduated from Harvard University Summa Cum Laude and A.B.D. in economics. He had an illustrious career as a civil servant, principally as a health statistician for nearly 30 years at Social Security Administration headquarters in Baltimore. Mr. Krute's managerial efforts included overseeing the design and implementation of federal statistical systems for tracking the national disability insurance and Medicare programs. He provided information that was utilized for program policy formulation, administration, oversight, and legislative functions. For his contributions, Mr. Krute received the Distinguished Service Award from what was then the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (now called Health and Human Services). He subsequently worked as senior budget analyst for all the health and human service agencies in the state of South Carolina. The family has honored Mr. Krute's wish to be cremated by the Neptune Society. Afterwards they will hold a private memorial service on February 8, 2004, at 1 P.M., at his wife's home in Boca Raton, Florida. For directions, please call Dr. Sayetta'a office at (561) 391-5110.
